Jack has trained and showed professionally, mostly working cow horses. He has also judged, both Western and English. A graduate of Cal Poly SLO, he ran the horse unit at Fresno State for four years and coached the judging team. He had his own training stables in Fresno, California, and gave lessons to both adults and children. His background includes several years of cowboying in California and Nevada. He worked with Ray Hunt for several years in California and Nevada in Ray's pre-clinic days, before his method was called "natural horsemanship." Located in Orovada, Nevada, near Winnemucca, he is currently offering some training, lessons, clinics, and help with local and state 4-H horse activities.
